Back to Press Release Home LOCAL SECURITY SYSTEMS COMPANY TAKES SAFETY INDIANAPOLIS, IN - As part of an ongoing effort to assist parents in archiving important data about their children, Guardian Protection Services will host its GuardianKIDS ID Program on Saturday, October 8, 2005, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., in the parking lot of the Intech Business Park in Indianapolis. The program is co-sponsored by the Pike Township Fire Department. The event is open to the public and will be held rain or shine. The event will give parents an opportunity to have their child’s fingerprints and photo taken using a state-of-the art fingerprinting lab and digital equipment utilized by agencies including federal law enforcement. Guardian made a substantial financial investment in this high-tech computerized system, which fingerprints and photographs without the use of ink or film. It delivers the highest quality available and can capture and magnify viable prints from children as young as three months old. Parents immediately receive an 8 1/2x11-inch “Bio-Doc” laser print that includes the child’s fingerprint, photo and blank fields for vital information. There is no charge for this valuable service. The event will also feature a classic car show, plus antique and new fire engine displays. Attendees will enjoy a live performance from the band Safe and Sound Squad, while children enjoy ongoing performances from Safety Bob. Various safety presentations will also be featured throughout the day. Free food and free 9-volt batteries from Batteries Plus will be available.
